Need a men’s haircut in Copenhagen? Whether you live here, have just moved to the city or are visiting for a few days, it helps to know what things cost, how walk-ins work and what to ask for. This guide answers the questions we hear most from international clients at Starco Barber on Vesterbro.
We have run the shop for more than ten years, and our barbers George and Nano cut every day. English is no problem in our chair.

- Scissor-only cut: DKK 425
- Extra long hair: DKK 525
- Beard trim or shave: DKK 275
- Haircut and beard: DKK 650
- Kids’ haircut: DKK 325

What to ask for
Danish barbers use many of the same terms as in the UK and US. These help you get the cut you want:- Fade: Sides that go gradually from very short to longer. Say low, mid, high or skin fade.
- Taper: A softer version where only the neckline and sideburns are shortened.
- Guard number: The clipper length, e.g. “a 2 on the sides”.
- Textured crop: Short, textured top pushed forward.
- Scissor cut: No clippers, for a softer, more natural look.
